Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    (from 96fm.ie)

Minister Noel Dempsey has confirmed that the long-awaited Cork School of Music building project is to go ahead, following almost two years of delays and dead-ends.

Speaking at the Cork Institute of Technology, the minister for education confirmed on behalf of the government that €60 million was to be allocated to the project in a public/ private partnership.

Contractors Jarvis are "ready to sign on the dotted line" according to Minister Dempsey, and work should commence by the end of June this year with a view towards providing a facility "custom built for music" by the summer of 2006.

Reaction to the minister`s announcement has been broadly positive but an attitude of "better late than never" seems to be the overall response.

About bloody time.... but Jarvis? I saw a Watchdog type programme on on British TV recently about a crowd called Jarvis that weren't paying their contractors -- is this a different bunch?
