Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Biscan was ritefully sent off !! If the last man fouls he has to go .

it doesnt say in the laws of the game that if he last man fouls he has to go. he only must be red carded if it is a clear goal scoring chance, which it wasnt last night.

poor refereeing, that red card should be recinded.

in saying that, we should beat marseille even if we are 2 goals down after 35 mins, and that performance was not up to scratch, especially the booting the ball forward tactics of the last 10 mins, thats a sign of desperate measures from a desperate team!

I'm not particularly disappointed ATM. I never expected us to win the UEFA Cup.

I'm looking at it this way. The CL place is in the teams hands now and no amount of excuses will work anymore. Ones like - the players were drained after the UEFA match or too many injuries etc. will have no effect at this stage.

Also there is no point in blaming Biscan. He's there because he was picked there. If he wasn't Henchoz would have been playing and that means a sh1t slow center half pairing. I agree it shouldn't have been a peno and there is no doubt that things like that change a game especially when you have to counter it with ten men.

What pisses me off though is that we have players like Babbel and Semi out on loan whereas they could be doing a solid job at Liverpool. Granted Semi is being loaned obviously to gain experience and I can see him being used more next year to fill in the right back berth should any injuries occur. But Babbel!!! WTF, I mean he is as experienced a campaigner as you'll get. A brilliant right back and a solid centre half. I just hope he comes back in next year along with Greg Vignal and that Henchoz, Biscan and Traore are shipped out.

Hmmm. Is this an honest opinion, or the advice of a Utd fan who wants to see Liverpool remain crap for the forseeable future???

no fa cup, league cup, uefa cup for liverpool this year. not even a half decent run in any. added to that their struggling to finish 4 in the league and are obviously not improving any in the past year or so.

yet the pool board are rumoured to be offering houllier a new contract?? are they just the stupidiest people in the world or what? if their holding out to the end of the season to sack him, its backfiring big time.

in my opinion, liverpool cannot get any worse hence absolutely any manager would do. im glad to see liverpool suffer but i think they've suffered enough. its a real shame such a big club is dying so quickly.
