Ring the customer care line of the operator and they should be able to give you the unblocking (PUK?) code. You'll probably need to quote the IMEI number (usually found inside the battery casing somewhere.)

    Thanks for that

is there any other way besides ringing them up??

If you have the original documentation that came with the phone you might find the PUK code. If it's a Vodafone handset I think you can get the PUK code if you log onto my Vodafone at www.vodafone.ie.

Thats not the phone thats locked, its sim-card, the only ways you can get the PUK number are:

    Original sim card pack slip
    Call the network
    Via Network website.

The last 2 need the owners Full name,DOB,Address etc.
If its not registered to anyone you can register it in your own name, but they will ask 2 numbers that will have been rang from the phone.
If you cant provide them, then its no go.

The sim card is blocked, all that is required to unblock the sim card is the PUK code. If you call the operator and quote the personal details associated with the sim card/phone number, they will give you the PUK number.

Alternatively you can use the self service features on www.vodafone.ie to get the PUK number. The PUK number is also included on the sim certificate that came packaged with the sim.

I think all options are given so next option would be to buy another phone :p

Or get another SIM card for it that you do know the PIN for. You can buy Voda RTG SIM only packs...

If at least one of the options provided is not enough to solve your problem, one can only wonder if its actually yours or not?
