Anyone tape Poker Million? Not having Sky leaves me relying on some kind person letting me borrow a tape of it.

I didn't record it last night but you missed nothing. It was a celeb heat before the real stuff gets under way. Players were Mark Williams, Stephan Hendry, Tony "I'm not Irish" Cascarino, Phil Taylor, Mike Tindell and some Layton Orient player. Anyway as you can guess the quality of play was awful.

Thats a relief - Cheers. Now I can try next week again to remember to call my dad and get him to tape it.

    Watched this at the weekend..
DevilFish and Teddy Sheringham were amongst the bigger names at the table..

There were also a few internet-only players, who were appearing in real tournaments for the first time.. I reckon for the most part, the internet players' performances were very poor..
Mostly without exception, they played extremely tight, and looked very much intimidated by DevilFish (ok, who wouldn't be!), folding many winning hands to him.

Teddy Sheringham started terribly, but improved as the game went on, even bluffing DevilFish out of a couple of hands.. At one point he folded AK, and showed his hand to the other players who were still betting on the hand... I figured the hand would be forfeited, but they played on..

DevilFish just wiped everybody else off the table.. Some of his bluffing tactics were extremely powerful.. At one stage, he had the nuts, and was trying to get one of the Scandinavian internet players to call/raise..

    DevilFish:
"It's a long way home, you don't want to be heading home this early do you?"
"All your friends are waiting for you in the other room"
    Followed by the killer line:
"There no shame in folding to a better hand"

    Scandi:
    "All-in"
