My 01 D Almera saloon is still for sale http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=148338

Failing that, what do people think about auctions? never being near one and will have to shift the Nissan asap.

Where are the most popular auction held and what times?

What percentage do you pay the auctioneer etc.

    Any advice/thoughts/comment's welcome

The thing about selling it via auction is that whilst you may sell it, expect to get way below market price for it.

Three words for ya - Buy and Sell - if that doesnt shift your motor, nothin will. i've bought 2 cars through it, and sold the first one through it too. you'll get as much as a dealer would give ya. As was said, you'll lose a packet at a car auction, cos thats where all the fellas go looking for a dirt cheap car.

B&S is only good for cheap motors or for young lads trying to sell motors tbh - don't bother. Try Evening Herald or better still Irish Times if the car you want to sell is worth more than €5k and you don't have teenage acne.
