Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The strongest coaching line-up for them right now would probably be Hitzfeld, assisted by Keane, Hughes, Bruce, and Schmiechel.
But its not really an issue right now . . . .

At the risk of prolonging a tired topic......
there's always the chance he'll retire during the summer? Did he not seem a little less animated this season about it all? Not a sign of a mindgame to date . . . .

Cud be Carlos Querioz........didnt a great job for them last year and even Ferguson admitted that he had a major part to play in them winning the title....also Carlos is gettin a bit pi**ed with Madrid at the moment......especially when the owner sent down someone to tell him what tatics to play in the second half of the Monaco game!!

They wud prob move Keane into an Assistant Manager position as he is gaining his training badges all the time and training the youth teams....dont think Ferguson will leave only move up the ladder......technical director or something.....

Carlos Querioz or Hitzfeld would be good replacements and maybe bring back Brain Kidd as well

How many Assistant Managers do u want?? First of all dont tink Hughes would quit Wales just to be part of a group of assistant managers!! Maybe if he was made Assistnat Manager with a 3-4 year plan to take over as manager.....

Also Schmeichel has made no moves into Coaching yet and seems to be moving towards a career in TV presenting......

schmeichel as goalkeeping coach, hughes as assistant with keane working his way thru the ranks as he gets his badges.

I think there might be something to it, they were only 12 (was it ever 13??) points behind as of last couple of weeks. I dont remember Ferguson having the same gusto at any point this season as other seasons, when they were top, or sliding down in that recent slump.
I'd be worried about Erickson getting anywhere near the job, he hasnt earned it. If O'Neill wins the EUFA Cup, they might take a gamble on him, and wouldnt be surprised if it did happen this year. I cant picture ONeill embracing a horde of ex-United players on his coaching staff though, as ideal as it sounds.
Queiroz would be superb, already having done a great job there, but now with that experience at Madrid behind him too.
