It was great. Not as many people as I thought would be there but still it was fun and entertaining and I can't wait for the next one.

It's changed since then Eoin.
There's now a monstrosity of a projector screen thing (yet no projector, typical half-ass-ed-ness) at one end and it somehow felt a hell of a lot smaller.
Space was wasted at the top aswell with the switching kit and the tables for the consoles, projector etc.

Anima's team deserved to win the cs tho tbh, they seemed to be able to hear everything my team said over teamspeak :P

Binding keys takes too long and usually you forget what you said on what key, yet in tight locations as it was at the lan the Headset is not the best option either.

umm I have l337y mcCh33t0r status/location aliases in qw, but they aint cheats, the best clans use both aliases in messagemode 2 and teamspeak, it adds more depth to the game.

have you ever tried to use these scripts? (werent you in that ngcs clan or something?), they're certainly not easy bai, bunny hopping around on dm3 while using them is a difficult task that I certainly havent mastered yet.

the 80 gbitline in NUIG rarely downloads at full speed, the Heanet one is probably used to download from othe specific organisations who have their own phat lines, like, the chances of Syxpak downloading a boards.ie page at say 500 mb/s are well, not even slim to none. Still owns tho

CS would be alot more fun and just as easy to play on those machines.

I don't know what port CS plays on, CS is alot easier to play if your new, there's no doubt about that. It wouldn't be easier to install however because of cd keys and steam etc if you want to play online, with qw you can just download a directory and play it without any worries of copyright infringement or cd keys.

Also, what happened to all the pics taken at gl9? I for one havent seen any yet.....

lol. Caliden: one major difference between qw and cs is that you can walk into say lanfest, open up the game, and you'll be killing within minutes, with qw there is a much larger learning curve.

You seem to think that I'm bad mouthing cs, I am not, I enjoy playing cs and have no doubt that you practise alot and are good etc. Think before you lose your mind next time man.
