Just wondering did anyone see the news last Monday regarding Affordable housing in Cork ? It seems there hasn't been the expected "take-up" of the houses.

I'm on the waiting list in Galway and have been told it will be 12-18 months before any new developments will be completed !! I've been on the list since last September . The contact people have been extremely unhelpful during this period of time. It seems they don't give a sh1t .

Just wondering is there anyone in similar circumstances or anyone with experience of this ?
