South Cambridge is very rural so funny enuff BT set ridiculous trigger levels and said there was no demand for DSL there. The Council stepped in to DSL enable the area and hired a shower called Trinity Networks to DSL enable them.

As Triligy were using their OWN DSL kit and not relying on the BT wholesale stuff they are now offering.

256/128 at 7.5Km (Eircom Guarantee 256k at 3.5Km with their cruddy kit, BT go to 6km)
    2048/256 nearer the exchanges and
4096/4096 SDSL in the villages themselves.

Meanwhile lots of us rural Paddies are hanging around till bext year for the Eircom RADSL gunk at 256k and up. Details of the service rollout Here

Prices are Here 4096/512 for UKP90 INCL VAT and 10:1 contention, whinnnnnneeeeeeeeeee :( Thats €135 a month for 4Mbit DSL and €100 a month for 4096/512 at 20:1 contention .

SDSL 2048/2048 5:1 contention is UKP300 a month ex vat . Leased line quality stuff.
