Just picked this up "off the wires"

DUNDALK-based wireless broadband provider Digiweb has launched a new range of DSL services across the Republic, Northern Ireland and the UK.

The provider has launched four services ranging from a basic 512kbps entry level service to a 2mbps service for heavier users.

The firm's "Home Jet" package, targeting users in the Republic, will be available for €38.99 per month with an installation fee of €89. Both prices include VAT.

Colm Piercy, managing director, Digiweb, said: "Introducing these services today, we will immediately offer DSL in 170 towns across the island - increasing to 240 by the end of this year."

He added that the new services are particularly suited to multi-location companies seeking a single broadband provider.

According to the Companies Office, the company was incorporated in 1997 and Colm and Olive Piercy are listed as directors.

In the year ended December 2002, the firm reported losses of €13,332, compared with €60,997 the previous year.

They do a 512/256 service. I wonder is that a typo, because the rest sounds like the typical Eircom reseller pulp.

it seems to be eircoms dsl resold, prices seem good tho and the download limits are better too, 10gb for the home package, 20gb for the home+ bizstarter package, the 1mb and 2mb packages are uncapped. looks like anyone who is really fed up with iol and utv breakdowns of late may have another option other than eircom to switch to now. Be interestiing to see will these services be stable and good pings etc.

Considering their dsl product only launched this week, I think it's safe to say no one has digiweb dsl right now.
As for the min contract...go read the terms and conditions on the dsl.digiweb.ie site!
