    Realex (www.payandshop.com)
    or
    Worldpay (www.worldpay.co.uk)

Worldpay is uk based so things take a little longer,
Realex is dublin based, nice lads to work with.

no i reckon im going to go with www.payandshop.com because i was just on the phone and they put the money into your own bank account which is exactly what i want.

Just curious, Why can't you use paypal?

With payandshop it looks like you have to have a merchant service agreement and if you have one of those, money has to go your account anyway? Have you checked into the details fully.

You should look at moneybookers.com if you don't have your own merchant services account.

You need a merchant account with your bank in order to use this service.
I see you having two options Paypal or 2CheckOut. Go with the latter.

Whats the address of your site by the way?

You could use ikobo for a merchant account to accept payments, you just fill out some stuff.
You could try worldpay but they are a bit expensive to setup with and chage transfer cost to transfer the money accross to your account.

Hey sloathy thanks for the advice. Have you or anyone you know ever used this service?

  • Registered Users Posts: 73 ✭✭Slothy

Yeah Ive used iKobo, to send money it works great. I havent tested the Mercahnt account.
to register they debit an amount from your card and then you confirm the amount, thats the only tricky bit, another thing is dont lose your password they dont email it to you..... just remember that...
I found it realy good generally, but support replies from them are not great though.

It is not possible for Paypal users in Ireland to transfer money from their Paypal account to their bank account, which sucks.

Ironically, Paypal Europe Customer Services are based in Ireland

Thanks for that. Odd, they normally send me useless email updates but didn't get any notification of this from them.
