It seems very on-and-off with the pings on UTV. This morning I was playing UT2004 on Jolt with pings of about 50ms. Now they're as above.

I was geting pings of 980 in UT2004 on an English server. Seemed to improve a bit later, but never went below 200.

Is anybody else constantly getting disconnected from servers while gaming online with UTV. Been happening to me now for about a week. Quite frustrating!!

aha , so I'm not alone , and I was starting to worry it was my game .

I can only presume then that the ping is going so high we get disconnected .

    John.

Not had this problem with my current online addiction (Horizons), but have been trying to download the Lineage 2 beta for a few days, its 1gig, but keep loosing the download after the first 5 or so megs. Frustrating. Then again its downloading at around 18k per sec, so may I'm better off waiting.....

I have got disconnected a couple of times from TSo (The sims online) Hmmm guess high pings did it. Also 2 second time freezes... and then everyone speeds up ;)

Oh how i thought the days of lag were gone... in the past... forgotten... things that would only be brought to mind during nostalgic moments "Oh Jim do you remember lag?" "No what's that...?"

Still getting kicked from servers with UTV, i wonder how long this problem is going to continue for? Theres a definite case here for the DofCA.
Also, if i remember correctly somebody wrote in a thread that Utv were planning to compensate users for the siht service as of late. I'll believe that when i see it, which i probably wont.

best pings I've had on utv. does this mean they've fixed problems? probably now :D
