Firmware upgrade for 7650... rip off!

    I have a Nokia 7650 with a very old firmware, I'd like to upgrade because I can't check email nor use the modem with this version. The phone isn't under warranty anymore so I checked with the 2 NSC here for the price.

    One ask for 50.44€, the other one 170 €... I asked twice for the price because I couldn't believe it!
    I am better off getting a new phone!!

    Is there any cheaper way to update the firmware?!

    depends if your phone is in or out of warranty, if its still in warranty you can get it done for free in some phone shop on dawson st, cant remember the name of it though.

    if its out of warranty i dont have a clue!
