Just wondering if anyone can help me identify the band that won a recent competition on Pet Sounds? All I know is that they're from Cork, name starts with 'The' and, according to my housemate, the song title contains the word 'rabbits'.

are you talking about the thing recently where journalists nominated a band and people texted in?

the winner was waiting room from cork and the song was 'return my rabbits'

That's the one, the corpo. It seems it was called Operation Green Day and songs were nominated by Hot Press journalists for listeners to vote on by text. If I hadn't been so inebriated on Paddy's Day I might have been able to remember it myself.
