Best Heavy Metal Album Ever !

Let me know what you guys think is the above ?

I think Metallica's "...and justice for all" is the best for the following reasons -

1. No Filler
2. Top notch song writing
3. Top notch metal sound
4. Song Composition - keeps your interest in an album thats around 1 hour 10 mins !
5. Sounds brilliant

It has to be the best rock/metal album ever.
I could give days listening to it non stop-i acctually did listened to it non stop for days when i first got it.

you do know there is a cd called the best heavy metal album it came out about 3 months ago and it got loads of classics from the like of megadeath

In Flames have many albums superior to any Metallica album ever released, as do Dark Tranquility, between these 2 bands alone, you have enough albums of pure musical genius to listen to constantly for a good 6 or 7 hours. To name but a few:

Dark Tranquility:
The Gallary
Projector
Haven
The Minds I

In Flames:
Lunar Strain
Subterranean
Colony
Clayman
Jester Race
Whoracle

Not forgetting many other superb death metal bands which outshine Metallica.

As for best of threads, too many, sick of em aye, have about 1 every week at least usually.

Try having a look around, and you might find that there's bands who've done far better things than the more popular bands.
