    Hello to all,

    Hears my story.
    I am currently a 2nd year student in University over in England.
    I am an Irish national.
    I am wondering am i elegeble for any sort of grants or govt assistance.

    I only ask because I'm finacially F***ed!

    And I paid taxes for years in Ireland.

    Any knowledge or advice would be great.

    In one swift sentance they'll tell you to píss off.

    However apply to the DFES, in the UK. You can get your fees paid in full. The British government gets money from the eu for the likes of you.


    I know all this becuase I am in the UK.

    Lump is that through the LEA????

    I have been in England B4 and used up alll my finaces with them
    Is there still a chance????

    No, it's not the LEA..... AFAIK, I could be wrong, the LEA is an english based grant thingy. The DFES is european money. You could also apply to the loans company.... I'm not sure if they will give student loans to Irish students.
