    Good band and all, but how come they're on Tom Dunnes cd with the sunday times today? I have heard frequent talk about 'claiming them as Irish' in the past as well. How is this so? They do appear to be fully English or (Scottish?) to me.

    Just curious.....

    oh right - if they are, fair enough.

    however their website mentions Dundee as where they met.

    Maybe the dummers mother is Irish or something??? ;)

    The band members are from Northern Ireland. They got together in Scotland while at college, as far as I know.

    they're irish (4 outta 5 anyway)! from belfast! they live in scotland. and they've been going for years. their latest album is their third...

    sick of reading on english publications about this great new scottish bands debut album... grrrr
