any1 heard the song alone? don't think it's on any creed album (there's only 3 right?) but aparently scott stapp is definitely 1 of the vocalists and rumour has it that tool are co-inventors. any1 know if this is true? since stapp and keenan are both working independent from their respective bands presently it could be true but on the other hand it could be completely off the mark so any1 got any info at hand>

i find it hard to believe that tool would have anything to do with creed... theyre complete opposites.... but it could be true.... I just hope to sweet baby jebus that it aint

Tremonti does have some kick ass riffs though.

AFAIK its true. The story with Creed incidentally is that they have a 3 disc Anthology coming out in November with new stuff and unreleased/rare stuff. Meanwhile Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti will be working on solo stuff. Tremonti is one hell of a guitarist imo and can't wait to hear him doing something different.

I'm a big fan of Creed (although I never got their album before Human Clay), got into them while living in the states. Is Stapp just doing a bit of experimentation alone or have the band gone their seperate ways ?

really dispise creed.... such Pearl Jam wannabes (well, the singer is a Vedder wannabe anyway)
their songs are about as enjoyable and meaningful as Nickleback... Im surprised thats true, I would have thought Creed would be the kind of band tool hate (in their commercialism etc)
they both have a spiritual side, but arent creed devoted catholics??

Big fan of Pearl Jam too which is maybe I like them, I agree that Stapp and Vedder sound alike but I think their music itself is different.
Don't know if they're devout Christians but Scott Stapp came from a religous background, his father was a church minister or something.

My Own Prison was brilliant I thought. Some good songs on it and Tremonti sings on it. The band aren't going their seperate ways, just side projects.

They're Catholics alright but not devout. They sang about God a fair bit in the beginning and that was what gave that impression
