Right now i'm driving with no tax and without an insurance certificate (though it is paid for by cc over the phone).

My insurance ran out near the end of march and the tax at the end of march.

Because of the postal strike I haven't received my insurance certificate, cannot retax the bike because you need to be insured to tax it.

If a garda stops me , will i have a leg to stand on, sure I can prove that i am insured..eventually, but am NOT taxed. Am a bit worried if i'm stopped if they will say..I'm breaking the law by driving untaxed and apparently uninsured too :(

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

I'm in the exact same situation as you right now !
I'm not in the slightest bit concerned about it, I'm sure it'd be fine :p
