    Hi there Bazbu!
Any particular stream of the MBS (MIS, HRM, Finance etc.) you are interested in? Would help narrow down any advice I could pass on...

Thanks for your reply - I'm still waiting to receive full details of all the different streams but certainly want to involve the financial side of things. I'm not an accountant but need to have a good general knowledge of the financials

A summarised overview of the streams is available here. Don't know if you managed to make the Open Day yesterday? The Finance MBS is good for a general financial grounding, while the M.Acc would be more suitable to those seeking to specialise in accountancy.

One of the most difficult aspects of doing this part time is juggling work and study. Lectures can be scheduled at any time of the day and employer support can be difficult to secure unless they are seeking a substantial ROI.

Another thing to watch out for is the substantial € hit - fees, laptop, books etc. all add up to an expensive two years. Again employer sponsorship could alleviate this!

Hope this helps. If you need any more specifics, please PM me.
