Eircom Business DSL losing Static IP

Several times over the last few weeks, I have noticed that Eircom has incorrectly assigned a 159.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address instead of the correct 62.xxx.xxx.xxx static address (on the 2mbps business service).

This means that VPN, VoIP etc fails as the equipment is no longer at its static address.

Shuting down and restarting PPPoE results in correct address assignment.

Helpdesk guy didn't believe that it happens.

Has anyone else come across this and what is causing it?

    somthing similar.
some people in my gf's company are given broadband to work from home and they noticed that it would work and then a few weeks later it would stop working.
Eventually Eircom admitted that if they notice a broadband line is not used for a while, they 'loan' it to somebody else!

Make a note (print screen if neccessary) everytime your IP changes and then send that to them.

This is definitely not the case here.
Line is fairly heavily used and up 24/7. Static IP addresses were purchased as part of the package and should not be being reassigned.
