    What are it's symptoms?

    Probably better off to just buy a new one, especially if it's anything to do with the motherboard.

    If it's just Disc Read Errors, you should be able to fix it yourself.

    Got mine fixed recently for €70(had to replace the dvd drive or sommet). Syucom or sommet up around O'Connel street i believe.

    (can get exact address if you want it)

    My ps2 stopped working some day, I gave in my ps2 and they replaced it for free.

    K will get the address and phone number etc.
    I went into my local sony shop and they gave me this address.
