Just got my wife's Punto sold, she is now using the GTI. I am finally going to do my provisional and move from riding bikes all my life to driving a car. I am 30 - this helps.
Where would I get insurance on a car with a new provisional and no claims. What engine size would I be limited to even be quoted on. I dont mind paying extra - but a reasonable amount.

    Ideas?

Since you have a second car, why not look at getting a classic car for yourself? Insurance is quite cheap and you are more likely to get bike-like fun than from a granny-mobile.

Agreed. When exactly does the classic bit kick in? I am very happy to drive a older car - this is for sure. Could I still benefit from a classic on first provisional?
