Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

1-0 to the Reds - Hyppia heading home from close range after a neat coner move. Liverpool are bossing things so far and Heskey's putting himself about - obviously worried about rumours about his future.

Close one there, Henry has a goal ruled offside.

Arsenal have rallied well after the goal and Liverpool seem to be inviting them one. Owen's looking a bit isolated up front.

come on liverpool, make it 3 defeats in a row. if anyone is to hang onto a 1-0 lead, its liverpool.

that 1st defeat in the league looks to be on its way. and arsenal fans said the fa cup and championsleague defeats wouldnt upset their league campaign!

Not domestic TV - I'm watching it on a feed in work. :D

Another free header for Hyppia in the box, Arsenal look worried everytime the ball comes in and Lehman hasn't a clue what to do.

Nice one, this will be a good test or Arsenals character now.

    Gwan the Pool.

Arsenal are having most of the ball, but it's Liverpool who are threatening most. Arsenal just had their first real chance - great near post save from Dudek from a Ljungberg shot on the right after Henry put him in.

It's not online, it's an internal channel in work.

****!!!! Henry levelled just seconds after Owen knocked over a 1-on-1 with Lehmann. It shouldn't have stood, there was a clear foul on Hamann in the build-up.

What feed are you watching it from?

Dont believe everything what you hear, Hamman fell over trying to tackle him, carragher didnt get near and then Biscan ran into Carragher. It would have been better had their been clown music.

as a total neutral huge credit to Arsenal coming back from 2-1 down at h-t after the two defeats in the cups

Deserved champions if as it appears they are gonna win it now

Liverpool were a fúcking joke in the second half - Arsenal ran them ragged

Fair dues to Arsenal - they've bounced back well from the FA Cup/Champs League defeats

Can somebody please tell me why the hell Biscan is allowed anywhere near a football field, especially when there's a fully fit Henchoz sitting on the bench, not that he was solely to blame though:rolleyes:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,147 ✭✭✭Ronan|Raven

4-2 and a truely accurate scoreline. Liverpool were worse than poor , the fact we were 2-1 up at half time was a miracle in itself. Biscan I have to say did his impression of a statue very well id give him full marks on that. Diouf well what can ya say, if he didnt cost so much id laugh. Kewell, Harry hasnt been on the boat the last few games at all at all and was very sloppy at times. Gerrard and Hamman both chose a very bad time to both have a bad game. Carragher was ok, same with Riise. Heskey did his best but tbh he was getting no service along with Owen and Baros when eh came on.

I hope they use that performance to show schoolkids how not to mark players and pass the ball. Fair play to Arsenal deservedly won the game , should have been more.

Then again in our defense we were tired from our excursions in midweek whilst challenging for honours in europe... Oh wait a minute!

PLAY HENCHOZ YOU STUPID STUBBORN ARSE HOULLIER! As bad as he can be he is better than Igor Statue, who looks like Houllier has to drag him out from bed 20 mins before kickoff. "I dont wanna play today Mr Houllier I need sleep" "Nonsense Igor im going to prove everyone wrong today by showing how good you are in defense"

Hmm that has the making of a tv show. Corrie and eastenders watch out!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,003 ✭✭✭✭The Muppet

Well they passed their test of character. A hat trick for Henry not bad for a player substituted mideweek with a gammy hamstring , sorry back.

I,d be looking for a new Doctor if mine didn,t know the difference beween my hamstring and back.;)

    hehe, nice synopsis there Ronan:D

Hope the hybrid United/Chelski fans enjoy watching that 1 - Arsenal are the best team in the country and the gaps on the table prove it.
There is something truly spectacular building at Highbury, the team spirit even shown in a team huddle after the match today.
I honestly believe we're only a couple of squad players(And perhaps a keeper - Niemi would be great) away from being untouchable - all without some random Russian deciding to throw money at us.

Anything can happen in the cup competitions but the best teams win the league - Madrid in Spain, Milan in Italy and Arsenal in England ;)

Thankyou I do try :) One must put on a brave face and suppress all their anger and then release it at an appropiate time. *looks frantically for an innocent bystander*

Infact im so annoyed I shall add bold tags to my sig!

but the best teams win the league - Madrid in Spain, Milan in Italy and Arsenal in England
