The Velvetron E.P. 'Orion Feedback' recieved 'pick of the fortnite in this weeks Hotpress..........who said

They use intergalactic lyrics like syd (barrett not vicious) and probably read science fiction. this suspicion is reinforced by the thumping opener 'Orion Feedback' which is a bit like tangerine dream gone techno ape**** on cheap lager. But its spoiled by the murky recording of the vocal. The toe tapping 'Orchid of February' delivers similar treatment to a bunch of pink floydisms, but with a far better vocal this time. 'Life Leech' brings some unexpected guitars to the party and benefits from the ensueing sonic maelstrom stirred by dietrich blitzer's swirling drums. Elsewhere the playing is right on and more about feel than technique. So well done for trying something different and making it work so well". - Jackie Hayden
