    I wana get a shamrock tattooed on my shoulder blade but i dont want colour in it, i want it just black (and lighter shades of black!) Will this work, i mean like will it look like a black blob of nothingness or will it look ok?? also i wana do sumthin to the general shamrock design to make it look a bit unique/different! any ideas?? a bit of help would be much appreciated!     theres LOADS that you can do, ask for shading work if you want it monochrome ie. black and shades of grey.
    best bet is to drop into a good tattooists, talk to the artist and come up with a few designs.
    theres loads that can be done with a shamrock as its such a simple design to begin with, so its hard to screw it up at any cost.

    i agree with chaos and one thing i would add to make sure it dont look like a blob when done (esp in a few years time) is to give it a good size.. small tattoos always end up lookin like blobs so give it a good few inches diameter anyways...
