why is IE going wierd?

I suppose this is the best place to ask: since yesterday IE has been displaying huge fonts for some reason, at first I thought was just on boards.ie, so i thought there was something going wrong with the site, but now its happening elsewhere too (such as yahoo), does anyone know whats going on and how to fix it?? thanks…
