Dublin/Waterford train service upgrade

Train services on the Dublin/Waterford route will be disrupted for ten days due to re-signalling work being carried out by Iarnród Éireann.

Work on the line will commence on 19 April and is due to be completed by 28 April. The cost of the improvement works is €6.5m.

From 20 April all services in both directions will operate with a bus transfer between Waterford and Newbridge.

Iarnród Éireann says the re-signalling project is designed to deliver significant service and safety improvements to rail customers using the route.
