    Seriously processing opwer is not what it needs. Yeah p3 will mor than be enough!! Secong gaming rig fir that AMD64.
    The only reasoon Im going dually is cause mine serves like 6differnt programs at once!!

    well mainly mines just storage for files and a test mambo site, so mysql will be in operation.
    yeah my amd64 was gathering dust but now that you mentioned to much power, were scraping the office pc in january and using my i9000 as the office will be made smaller and my laptop is more than capable of doing invoices etc.
    so a p3 a 20gb HDD and 512mb server.
    i have a p3 mobo lying around so i may use that as it has more bios features.

    oh its in a case, its just i havnt used it since may, due to the house being done up, plus im moving rooms so i dont wanna set up the rig altogether only to be dismantled in a month :D

    got most of the parts from Komplett and got the case and PSU from PC World.

    Looks really good . Want to mod my case but dont have the cash. I dont think I ever will it always has to be spent on something more needed:(

    i know the feeling, it doen't cost that much if your not going to go overboard. the case, psu and the 2 green cathode lights came to €162 :)

    It looks nice, the lights are really bright BUT is that a stock intel cooler i see :eek: must sound like a train, hehehe, also beige drives :(

    What are the case and PSU prices like in PcWorld?
    I heard they were pretty good but haven't had a chance to look myself.

    There actually not that bad at the minute, i got my 580W Hiper Type-R PSU from them for 70 and the case i got for 92 ( including fans and two cathode lights ) :D
