Bridging a wireless and a wired network

Hey, i have a broadband router connected to a hub, along with 2 pc's, i was wondering if i could bridge this connection with a wireless connection between a laptop and one of the 2 wired pc's using a wireless nic and not an access point because they are cheaper..thanks for ur help
