    Hey all, I'm just new here. my usual "main" forum has died a death after previously being awesome, my programming forum is too programmy for casual stuff and my 2nd choice forum is just too heavily-moderated to be fun, so I just hunted around till i found this one

    seems to have everything really, music, programming, gaming, tv and general bull****, awesome :cool:

    I'm from Armagh but i'm in england at the moment, had to leave the rural stoneage

    Hi justplaindan. If there is anything you need help with, just ask away in here. Generally there are certain rules & guidelines posted in a charter that is stickied and may vary from forum to forum.

    Stickies are threads that are stuck to the top of the page in a forum wich don't move from the first page (like this thread) They are usually threads that the moderator of the forum feels are important to keep on the first page. (I had to ask too ;))

    Forums I recommend for you to start off with are After Hours (AH); almost every topic can be discussed here (check charter for those that aren't, soccer & tv programmes generally not as there are big forums for those already) but leave seriousness at the door, you are able to have a serious discussion in here but try not to get offended easily by some of the silliness. There is also a Ranting & Raving forum if you like to vent. These forums can be found in the 'Rec' Category, you will see the various categories across the top of each page. 'Soc' contains more of the serious or specialist forums for discussions, such as law, politics, debate, religion etc.

    Have a look around yourself & dive in, there is something and plenty here for everyone.

    seems easy enough... just looked through the rules... pretty standard forum rules really, dont abuse people, dont go off topic, dont self promote etc.
    anything u need to find, type it in the search area and u get loads of pages on it. i joined up cos i googled something ages ago and got pointed here... spent a while looking around. just mess around a bit and watch what the mods say really...

    If you want something to read without too much clicking just read my Boards 101 guide at the top of this forum :D

    The Menu Bar at the very top of the site can direct you to all of the forums on offer. Everything from Mustard to Mathematics! Just hover over the text for the category (eg. Games) and it will display all of the forums udner that category.
