Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello there,

I had a text link in my signature to a website of mine: http://www.everything.ie.

However this was removed by Dev and I was told that no ads were allowed and to go have a look at the thread "sigrules". I did this and it hasn't made things that much clearer. I have now created an image within the limits layed out there and just want to make sure it's ok with you.

I can see how it is unfair for me to have a blatent ad in my sig for a business website and I can see why you would want to disallow this. But if you actually have a look at everything.ie you will see that it is completely free and designed to be of help to people. It's meant to be a community based website which is free for everyone to use. I'm not making any money out of it, I set it up to try and help others.

There are no ads on my site, unlike this one, nor do I charge people to use it in any way. Therefore I don't see why I can't have a link to it to help get it up and running and to let people know about it. Many of the links in other people's sites seem to be to commercial sites and yet they seem to be allowed. So you can see why I'm confused as to why you would remove mine.

Please have a look at my site http://www.everything.ie and feel free to read the section regarding my aims and why I set the whole thing up in the first place: http://www.everything.ie/html/philosophy.html . I hope you will see the merit in it and allow me to have a link to it.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

    Thanks,

    Robert
