    Hey!

It's been a very long time since I've posted on this board, if I ever posted in the first place. Anyway, like the rest of y'all, I'm a CTYI-Veteran (4 times in fact) but alas I've been absent from the redbricks of DCU for the last two summers, so most of ye reading probably won't even know who I am, hopefully others will (I didn't do that strip in session 1 2001 to go unknown into history!!)

Anyway, seeing all this chat of what courses y'all are planning to do for another summer in CTYI made me wonder: have any other ex-CTYI-ers applied for RA's this summer besides myself?

T'wud be cool to have an idea who I may hopefully be working with.

    Thanks

    Niall

Hell yeah! Those were the days!! Hows CTYI been without me?

Yeah, hoping to get an RA job this summer, but they don't even start interviewing until the beginning of May, so I won't know for quite a while if i'l get it.

You going back this summer crash/foobar/neil? Or you all too-grown-up for it?

Nope, that dude was a yank, whereas i'm a poor little Ulster boy.

*looks down at the bottom of his sig* Uh, Ed.

Ah, that's right, he was Sean. According to Allan Kearns, the only lad in Financial Markets with a proper Irish name was an American. Meh, he said lots of things.

  • Registered Users Posts: 229 ✭✭his_dudeness

Ah, didn't realise that was your name, thought it was some witty editor-esque inclusion.

You from Laois? (Just trying to narrow in down in my head as to if i know you)

  • Registered Users Posts: 229 ✭✭his_dudeness

Ah, your membership of the LNA would suggest that you are in fact from Laois (Sorry, I've only just found out what it means)

Anyway, I remember you, though it's obvious that you don't remember me.

Yep. Amazing what a good sig can tell you.

Yeah, Med is mad craic, nice bunch of alcoholics in the class. The future of the health service is in our hands (God help you all!!)

It's kinda crap though 'cause they've had us studying more or less straight since the christmas exams, what with loads of MCQs and the spring exams.

That all said, i'm finished for the summer in ten days so who am i to complain!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,648 ✭✭✭smiles

    Finished in 10 days??? grrrr....

Yeah, my exams start in 7 and then I'm not finished for 3 weeks.
