Start the PC off a network boot floppy and map a drive to it?

The Disk Cleanup facility should give the option to delete all but the most recent restore point. Mine was taking up 5 gigs on a 20gig HDD once...

If you just don't want it, disable system restore, reboot, and you should be able to remove it.

Seamus is correct, by disabling System Restore, the Restore directory should be removed automatically.

It's a protected folder while System Restore is running, so it is not possible to delete it.
