Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hiya's,

When I first signed up I stuck in my "normal" nick of "Adeptus Titanicus", but it got trimmed to Adeptus Titanicu. I mailed support and one of the guys kindly trimmed my nick down to Adeptus within minutes, so that was fine.

I was just wondering is there really a limit though, or did Fat Finger Syndrome hit and did I miss the s at the end myself? I've seen some really long nicks since ("Thomas from Presence" being one that stuck i nmy mind :)), hence the question.

    Thanks!

Well, it appears to have accepted a change to your desired username and I can't find anything that attempts to restrict the length at signup.

Thanks ecksor! I had thought it was a DB field limit or something. Obviously it was because my hand-eye coordination is away to %*£&. I feel whole again now ;)
