Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    So tonights big game :D

What do you think will happen, Saha and Ruud will apparently play some part, and Scholes is suspended.

Keane trained yesterday but is still unlikely to play with a hamstring injury. With Keane, Scholes and Rio out I'll say a 1-1 draw.

God knows, the way that United are playing at the minute then it could well be a win for Charlton. Very inconsistent at the moment.
Worth putting a few notes on Charlton.

To many changes occuring in the latest league matches, always seems to be 2 or 3 changes happening

Was at the game last night. It wasn't the best. The only thing that kept me entertained was the United fans. They were great. Saha had a great game. Some of his runs were out of this world, he was making space nearly every time United had the ball.

Good win, but Charlton were poor. Bring on Liverpool!

Not on local channels at all, on the foreign channels I am sure. Go find a pub!!!

Watched the game on MUTV last nite, thought that we should have hockeyed them.
Thought Bellion played very well on the left, a possible position for him???
Ruud looks rusty though, wants to get back into the groove for the FA Cup match.

Watched the reserves last nite as well, some fine players there, Specter playing at centre half was a rock, Eagles in midfield was top class and Blake up front is unreal fast, along with Cooper they are excellent.
Shame they are not getting a run out in the seniors

Where were you sitting? I was in the South Stand at the very front but we didn't have a great view because we were dead level with the pitch. I though Saha was very good too but looked like he was struggling towards the end. On the news that night they made it look like everyone was frisked on the way in but I carried backpack in and wasn't given a second glance.

Best chant I heard that night was....

Gary Neville is a red, is a red, is a red,
    Gary Neville is a red...
    He hates Scousers!
Tracy Neville's off her head, off her head, off her head,
    Tracy Neville's off her head...
    She plays netball!

Heard the first bit before but not the second bit :p

I was sitting in the East Stand upper (opposite the stretford end). I thought the funniest was after the charlton fans shouted for a handball, the united fans started shouting handball every time a Charlton player touched the ball.

And then the sarcastic clap when the Charlton fans started singing "Champions League, your having a laugh"

Great stuff! We started a few of the "Nothing at all" chants up where we were sitting. Its really cool how the people on the far side of the stadium react and start singing to it.

Was I hearing wrong or did a big Arsenal chant go up form the Charlton fans at one point? Could have sworn I heard them chant it but though it was a bit odd.

Yeah, I thought that was a bit strange too. The United fans just replied with the Packet of Sweets chant. It was hilarious. All those Londoner's seem to support one another when it comes to north versus south. I know a Milwall fan who was supporting chelsea and then arsenal against us this season.
