    I was trying to install Norton antivirus 2002 on my dads win 98 machine the other night and it would not let me install it,
    there was issues trying to after aaaI got past the reg screen, it gave me an error (cant remeber what it was) but did anyone else have issues installing NA 2002

    Just a shot in the dark, but it could be your Windows Installer version.

    Download the latest version from here and see if that does the trick.
