3310 Predicive Text

A mate of mine just bought a 3310 and we cannot see the option to turn on predictive text. The usual method to turn on predictive text is not working. Where is the setting hidden turn on predictive text when it is disabled? Is it somewhere in "common set"? Thanks in advance.

Go into a new message, and then go into the menu and set the dictionary to English.

And if it still isn't working after that, you might have to press the hash key a couple of times to get into the predictive text 'mode'.
