decent tab sites

    i've been trying to find guitar tab/chords for mundy, bellx1, and mark geary among others and it is so hard to find tab sights with irish artists and the like. :(

    can anyone help me?

    yeah thats a bitch, crap for anything recent as well, at goldenplec.com though theres a forum where people give each other tabs and stuff

    your not going to find tabs for those artists.

    the only way for you to get them would be to go up to them after a gig and ask for them!

    short of that get/pay someone who is reasonably good at guitar or bass to tab the songs you want.

    And that assumes that the artist knows tablature, and isn't playing
    from memory or using some other notation method (like a MIDI in to
    Cubase Score or Rosegarden etc.) to get all the little dots onto paper!

    Does anyone know what the legal aspect of guitar tabs is?
    Is it a copyright infringement?

    Yes and no....

    You can post tab, if it is your interpretation of the artists song. However the artist (or their record company) own the music, not just the recording, so if you post an exact representation of their music then you infringe copyright.

    Best thing to do is grab a guitar and figure it out for yourself, then everyones happy.
