Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A good game Today , with Chelsea dominating most of the first half . Joe cole scoring on 5 minutes after some good chelsea build up . Newcastle started to play better and from the 35th minute on started to pressure chelsea , Ameobi chesting a ball down holding off Desaily then turning and shooting into the corner leaving ambrosio no chance . In the second half Newcastle were the better , Darren Ambrose hitting a great right footed shot but was well saved by ambrosio. But Newcastle pressure paid off with Shearer scoring a contender for goal of the season after holding off Desaily ( ya again , he was terrible ) and hitting a stunning shot from outside the area .
Joe Cole crossed for Gudjohhnson to header but Shay Given pulled off an atheletic save . Shearer had a shot well saved by ambrosio . Late on John Terry hit the post but it wasnt enough for Chelsea and it ended 2-1 Newcastle.

John Woodgate picked up an injury during the game but im not sure how serious it is .

One of the best matches I've seen involving a top four side (basing it on last season's table) in quite a while. Had everything tbh.

Excellent game, really disappointed the boys didn't get something out of it at 0-1 should have taken the chances but were made to pay as Newcastle struck back a cracking goal by Shearer. J Cole showed the good sign of his game today.
