    Cable broadband just got faster

    First real sign of the UK braking away from the restraints of ADSL.

    Does any one know if any cable lines in the UK could provide 11mbps like in the US? Is it just the cost of connecting that to the wider network, or is it not possible with the current hardware they have in place?
