According to a report in the Irish Times such a breakup would mean the retail arm would not need regulation and allow Ofcom to focus on opening up the market on the wholesale side.…

Isn't it nice to know that at least one regulator has some b*lls, and even if they do not follow through at least they considered it - more than can be said for the waste of space that is Comreg.
