    Actually, scratch what I suggested - it's the name of a '70s country song by Randy Hanzlick. Although I can imagine both Tom Waits and Richard Harris appreciating it.

    More to the point, that one isn't damaged, its scuffed.
    Stick it in the buy & sell for €50 & get some of your money back.

    At least you'll limit the profits the old guy & the garage are gonna make.

    Hah. This guy has obviously got a grouch against someting.

    Listen, his solicitor will cost about 3 times that!

    It's a frivilous claim and it would be silly of you to hand over anything to a guy that spends €150 to fix that smear. It was pure stupid of him to expect you to pay it and even if he did take you to court the judge would have him pay his own costs (for being a pernickety old fool) leaving you paying €150 (if even - cause i doubt it) and him with a bill for about €400.

    Seriously, tell him very politely to piss off and get a life.
