Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Front Page Refresh

I've a bit of a problem with the front page. Whenever I select Boards from my address bar, or if I'm already here, and I click the first link in the menu (boards.ie), I get brought back to the front page, but it isn't refreshed. I'm using Opera v7.5b1 at the moment, but it also happened when I was using Opera versions 7.0 and 7.1.

I'm assuming the problem is browser-related, but I can't seem to find the setting that might be causing the problem. So:

    1) Is the problem browser-related, or am I on a wild-goose chase?
    2) If so, does anyone know what setting is causing the problem?

Its nothing major, but irritating nonetheless.

It's most likely browser related. There might not be a setting, you may just have to remember to hit refresh.

Yeah, its probably just cached. I don't want to change the cache settings though because it works well for other (more static) pages. Oh well. I've got kinda used to it anyway.
