Im thinking hypathetically here so dont attack me for being sacreligious r something! Just say the county next to you, was a part of your own county (god forbid!) and you pooled the two counties (sorry, single county!) together as one, select a team with all the best players to play together. (you could say its like joining celtic and rangers teams together, but without the sectarianism!) Come on post a team, im bored here!

ive picked a tyrone/armagh alliance (Armone or Tyragh if you will!)

    1. Paul Hearty
    2. Ciaran Gourley
    3. Philip Loughran
    4. Ryan McMenamin
    5. Gavin Devlin
    6. Kieran McGeeney
    7. Conor Gormley
    8. Paul McGrane (c)
    9. Sean Cavanagh
    10. Brian Dooher
    11. Brian McGuigan
    12. Oisin McConville
    13. Stephen McDonnell
    14. Peter Canavan
    15. Enda McGinley

So who's going to post the Dublin/Meath team, or the Kerry/Cork one? Come to think of it they'd be wars no matter who you'd join with anyone!

    From my own perspective:
    Westmeath/Longford, No
    WestMeath/Offaly, No thanks
    Westmeath/Meath, Yeah right.
We'll also forget about Cavan and Roscommon as they're in easier provences.:D

joey... your a funny old fish

but Im afraid I would never post a Dubth (dublin Meath team) and there is no players Dublin would want from kildare or Wickla ..besides Kldare Meath and wicklow are just suburbs of the big smoke anywhey and I propose they be renamed Dublin a,b and c respectivly

Join the counties? Are you mad?

A Roscommon/Sligo team would look like this:

    S Curran
    J Nolan
    M Ryan
    P Noone
    D Casey
    F Grehan
    E Towey
    S O'Neill
    K Mannion
    G Lohan
    J Hanley
    G Cox
    N Dineen
    S Lohan
    F Dolan

I ll have to agree with Imposter on this one

    Westmeath/Longford, No
    WestMeath/Offaly, No thanks
    Westmeath/Meath, Yeah right.

I think Westmeath would be better struggling to make an impact on their own rather than join up with any of those 3..

We have a chance of replacing Offaly in Div 1 Hurling Next Season .. Now that would be sweet :)

Bit no doubt it would be reversed the year after!
Westmeath do have a good young hurling team though. Still nowhere near the standard of the big teams though.

    Cavan/Monaghan? No thanks
    Cavan/Meath? No thanks
Cavan/Leitrim? What good would that do?
    Cavan/Longford? Likewise
Cavan/Fermanagh? They have a few decent players that woud make the team. I'd say the Gallagher's would play if they joined up with us...
