html/php help...webpage inside another

hi all

hope sum1 can help me. i av sum basic html and php knowledge. wat im trying to achieve for my site is a page that has another page inside it. right in the center, not to the left or top like as in frames.

the page will have a header and a trailer being pulled across from my VB3 forum. and i want in the center my other page which is my chat room page. im using phpmychat.

here is wat i av so far, i want the chat room to appear under the title box and above the link for the gallery.

you also seem to have a limited grasp of the English language.
what you're looking for (I think) is an iframe -> a quick google or http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_iframe should sort you out..
just get the php to echo the iframe/html code ... and CSS to align it (if vanilla HTML formatting doesn't cut it)

the following works

but when put into my site it doesnt, it looks like this

the height is working but not the width.

any ideas

change width=600px; to width:600px;

it's attrib:value; not attrib=value;
have a look at the specs on w3c.org

I find <iframe>s can be quite handy.

Just be aware that they are allowed under the XHTML 1.0 Transitional DTD but not under the XHTML 1.0 Strict DTD

Are they allowed in the XHTML Frameset DTD, anyone?
