    Cheap MultiRegion DVD Player

    Um, I'm looking for one of these. In Dublin, are Tesco/Dunnes et al having their great value sales soon? (or should I loot one at the weekend? :D )

    Argos still selling one for 50 ,but these cheap players are cheap for a reason.

    Amazon have 'em for 35 sterling.

    Look around, I got a mitsubishi DVD player for €90 before Christmas in a local shop.

    I bought a Ronin DVD player from Peats about six months ago. It was €99 I think. My old Samsung player would not play everything that this one does. jpg, mp3, dvd-r, dvd-rw, dvd+r, dvd+rw.
    A mate of mine bought one from the UK which cost him about 40 sterling. He got it delivered to the North. He is delighted with it. He replaced a Panasonic which he said was rubbish in comparison.
    It also hooks up to 5.1 speakers as it has a built in amp.

    I got an Apex in Currys in Liffey Valley fro the old man a couple of weeks ago
    and its a great little yoke

    Code number into the the oul remote and its completely region free

    oh yeah 44 euros

    got a yamada dvd player from amazon last novermber this one and it's really good, multiregion and plays mpeg, mp3s, shows pictures etc

    worked out around €70 all in, well worth it
