    Enquired by phone to a main dealer about the price of a car.
    Six grand says he.
    Next day test run the car and find it OK.
    Naturally look for a small discount ,as you do.
    Lo and behold, no reduction but an increase of e400.
    Sad thing is he will probably get it.
    I always thought the buyer gets a discount but not anymore.

    Yep, I've enquired over the phone, to find the sticker price was more once I got to the garage.

    Told them what I though of them, and turned on my heels and went elsewhere
