Ok guys here are the most selected matches by all of you. If you didnt get a chance to vote, too bad You had 4 whole days.

Well, I asked everyone to vote for any match anytime, from any promotion. The way the votes went, they all happened to be WWE/WWF matches. Jody and Jonny from CZW almost made it in. Im a bit disapointed some of Ric Flairs old WCW/NWA matches got no votes.

But these are the matches that got the most votes.

Mankind/Taker Hell in a Cell best match of all time? Admittedly, I like it but it's barely a match at all.

I suppose the HIAC match isn't a "real" wrestling match, but it had a lot of emotional intensity, much like any of Mick's matches. There's different elements that can go into making a great match, and in my opinion, a match that has so much emotion is just as good as one which has incredible technical ability shown.

I voted for the Austin/Hart match, that had both emotion and psychology in it, I really liked it. Although the best match I have ever seen was Flair vs Steamboat, that was unreal, I couldn't believe how much I got into it.

IMO, the grreatest match of all time was TLC2. It was just perfect.

Not that its just my favourite match, cos I dont exactly have a favourite match. Its like saying what your favourite song is. I just believe TLC2 was the sort of match, that you can say, in the words of Eddie Gurrerio: DIDNT HAVE TO CHANGE A THING.

But the majority of people voted for WWE matches. You can't really expect people to vote on matches they haven't seen, as most people have only seen WWE matches.

The origional post was to select the greatest match of all time, the 10 matches with the most votes got into the poll. It just happened that all the matches were WWE. I voted for a few CZW, ECw and WCW matches, but that just the way it all fell.

I voted for Cactus Vs Triple H at Royal Rumble 2000. But that is not my favourite WWE match, by a long shot.
In my opinion, the first TLC match was the best of the TLCs. Okay, the second one had the better bumbs, but many of the spots were copies of the first one. Also, the way a guy did a run-in for all three teams seemed a bit formulaic. But mostly, the fact is that the first one was the original, and thus the sequels have to be MUCH better for me to prefer them. I don't think they were.
My favourite WWE match is either the main event of Wrestlemania XX (I've only seen it once though, so its hard to be sure) or Angle Vs Benoit at the Royal Rumble '03. Its a pity neither were nominated.
I didn't like the Bret Vs Shawn Iron Man match that much. It was a bit too bovious that they were going to go for a draw, and thus it was just a long wait. Although the last few minutes, with Shawn in the Sharpshooter for the last thirty seconds were awesome.
I never saw the Savage Vs Steamboat match. I'd love to though.
