Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Buffalo Airstation - u/p

I have just had cable access reinstalled and (having gone for a couple of months without) eagerly went to connect.

After trying, and failing with both my laptop and PDA (both pick up the network but no apps will connect) I went into Airstation config to discover that i have managed to change the u/p from the default.

And displaying a classic dose of dumb end-user syndrome I do not remember what it now may be.

The Q is - can the Airstation be "hard reset" or something similiar. I have looked at Buffalotech site but it does not cover this :-(

    thanks, keith

they nearly all do ...examine all small holes really closely to see if there is a small push button switch behind any of them

There is a reset button on the back (if thats the 11g unit they are pretty **** and well known for losing signal all together....)

thanks for the responses both - i did use the reset button and that got around my password issue.

BTW it is the older B model - and I still cannot get it to work :-(

For someone non-technical like me working through IP and DNS settings for WAN's, LAN's and devices to try to get my laptop to connect is a right royal pain.

    whine, whine, whine!
